Try to change her mind Don't make her to remember that incident again and again.
How do I help my gf dealing with loss of a friend?

There really is not much you can do- especially far away.
I have noticed, sometimes people just need to talk things through, rather than get their mind off of a subject. It depends on what kind of person your gf is. Either way, try to listen if she needs to talk, be sensitive and above all be patient. Best of luck mate.

Spend time with her, take her somewhere nice, show her you care.
Death is a part of life. Its important to take the time to reflect on yourself/herself, staying healthy, and living life towards a goal. Some say everything happens for a reason.
Whenever someone tells me of a lost loved one, I sincerely tell them, "I'm sorry to hear that". Just that line alone is helpful. I will make a thread about this. here ya go http://www.supportforums.net/showthread.php?tid=23854 |
