Ok, I am at my friends house and I wanna connect to his wireless internet on my laptop. The connection is locked and he doesn't know the password to his own stuff.
I was wondering, how could he recover the password to it?
-I don't know if I worded this correctly, so I apologize if you don't get what I'm asking...

And how would I do that?

Try admin:admin
thats what the default login is for most routers.

It might give you an option to input the PIN instead of the keyword, which is located on the router itself, f you just want computer access to it.

If you want to reset the password to default on the router (192.168.1.1 as default (SOMETIMES)) you have to hard reset it.
Normally you just hold down the reset button for about 10-30 seconds, and the router will do something.
Worked? ;)
