Windows 7 Folders

Whenever I make a folder on my desktop and put files into it the the folder icon doesn't show there are files in it.



It used to but not anymore. For some reason it is just bothering me.

Did you turn thumbnails off in your folder options like below? That will cause it.

Yes it was off. Just checked it and still same thing.....

Turn it on and that will fix it mate.

I did. Still nothing...

I will keep looking. Doing what i did above gave me the result you had.

Here is it turned on and a folder next to it to show.

Still trying to figure out the problem. After I restarted my PC the folder icons were back to how they used to be then when I opened up the folder it went back to the empty icon.
