Windows 7 Folders - Fuz3 - 02-12-2010 Whenever I make a folder on my desktop and put files into it the the folder icon doesn't show there are files in it. It used to but not anymore. Doing what i did above gave me the result you had. Here is it turned on and a folder next to it to show. Now one with it turned off and a folder next to it to show. After I restarted my PC the folder icons were back to how they used to be then when I opened up the folder it went back to the empty icon.
