Not really, I have around 7k songs on my Laptop.

Problem is, my cellular carrier is Bluegrass. They said that you must buy a phone from them to get service through them. Them, being the worst CPC ever don't have a iPhone. So I can't get it. I must get it through them.

Actually AT&T is still the only "official" carrier of iPhones still(I think in less this changed without me knowing). It's not your carriers fault its at&t's/apple's.

It's just a high quality device, i recommend it to everyone. And, ya know i have seen videos and claims of being able to call, and when you think of it, it should be possible. It has internet connction, speakers and an earphone port. But i can't give a yes or no answer on that one, sorry.

The iPod touch can make VOIP calls, yes, but there is no way that it could make phone calls over a regular mobile network without modding that would make Hack A Day's eyes water.

An iPod Touch is worth it, I have got a 16gb 2G iPod Touch.
It is very good, you can download loads of apps and watch videos download podcasts on it, view the internet (safari), Facebook, Msn, Skype.
Overal it is very good.
One of the main problems is the wifi, it does not have a very big range, but it is still very good.
