Buy it, and no. Unlocking it means if you buy a verizon phone, then you unlock it and you can use it will alltel or sprint or at&t. But only one at a time.

Ok, Why should I buy. This is another stupid question but I would rather ask, look stupid, and know the answer. Rather than being stupid and not know the answer.

Can you unlock the iPod touch somehow to get signal like a cell phone? Lol.

It's just a high quality device, i recommend it to everyone. And, ya know i have seen videos and claims of being able to call, and when you think of it, it should be possible. It has internet connction, speakers and an earphone port. But i can't give a yes or no answer on that one, sorry.

I am thinking of getting the 64GB. If I am getting it, I want it good.
And yeah, according to the links I posted in my first post it can.

I got a shitty carrier that doesn't have it. The only reason I don't have T-Mo of Verizon is they don't pick up where I live.
=[

There are apps that can call people using WiFi connection, you just need the headphones that have the mic attached to it. I think all the new iPod Touches come with that now. The (free) app my friend uses is called "iCall" and here is their website http://www.icall.com/iphone/

It says iPhone but it works for the Touch too. The downside is that you need to pay for you to be able to receive calls.

iTouch is great. It's a next generation model that is really useful, especially if you jail break it, which I don't see why you wouldn't.

Offers a lot of fun if you are bored and it has some really useful on-board tools, obviously if you want better ones, get it from the App store for $, unless you're jail breaking.

Thanks for the link. I will look for it.
Will there possibly be a newer version coming out by Christmas?
How fast does it load Apps?

Think the 30+60gb's are faster.

Is it worth the money?
$400
