that's actually pretty messed up. i can understand sony suing, but to get ip addresses just for visiting sites? punishment for somebody stumbling across a video on youtube? its a sad day when the internet stands more for justice than the courts do

You should have probably read the whole thread rather than just my original post, as I realized it would actually be cheaper to buy a PS3 rather than an Xbox in the long run.

Anyway, thanks for the advice but I hate gaming on my PC. I'm not a fan of using the keyboard for gaming, I much prefer a controller.

To be honest if you don't like Halo I wouldn't get a 360, practically the only reason I got mine.

The online system is far better as mentioned previously but that's obviously up to you if it's worth the 4 bucks a month.

I also find the controllers are better on the 360, maybe because my hands are so big and that's a minor thing anyways.

Before you make your final choice check out a list of exclusives for each system, both already out and future releases, there may be some titles that you will miss out on by buying a PS3.

Aside from the Xbox exclusives. There is really nothing that the Xbox has over the PS3.

The only complaint I had when I bought my PS3 was the inability to talk to my friends whenever I wanted to while playing different games, like you can with Xbox Part Chat. Which we fixed through the use of TeamSpeak servers.

Plus, Gran Turismo 5 is all you could ever need.
