Most people give netbooks a bad review but I think personally that they are great computers if you use them for the right purposes. I had a netbook for 2 days it crashed....haha but it was a very bad one. By Intel netbooks with a lot of ram and HD space. AMD Processors do not go good with netbooks.

I have an Alienware M11X and it's just what I was needing... It's powerful enough for me to do graphics & animation which is what I use it for most, and it's also incredibly small & light meaning I can take it around with me extremely easily. I take it to college everyday in my bag, and have easily enough room for my sketch book, module briefs & various handouts, yet it doesn't feel heavy at all.
A lot of people slate Alienware, and I can see why for some of there other products, but if you're looking for a powerful netbook, then the M11X really is a beauty.

It's a netbook. It's simply designed for browsing the internet. If it can do that simply enough, I can't see how they get bad reviews.

I just bought a dell inspiron mini 1018, which will be arriving in 2 days. I'll be booting ubuntu netbook and tell you what I think. Will be using it for web surfing and managing, servers/sites when I'm chilling.
