Ok so I previously made a thread showing a simple 14 frame line test of an animation I was working on. I've been doing a bit more to it and here is the outcome so far.. (Total of 47 frames).

The cat-like thing will then freeze in the air in a cartoonish cayote & road runner kind of style, then drop suddenly, landing on a rubbery cactus which will fling him into the side of the cliff.
