How much money are you planning on spending for the TV? There are many options but it all depends on how much you are willing to spend for the television.

I have a 52" Sony WEGA LCD
It was $1,400 and it is doing really good. I recommend it. You can replace the lamp and it is brighter and most of the time better quality than a plasma. ★★★★★ ★ ★ - Shock! ★★★★★
