That's almost $2000, you could just about get a 3D one for that. I don't know where you are but here in Australia, you can get a decent plasma/lcd for about $1000. The prices will be going down when the 3D ones take over if they haven't already..better off waiting or saving a bit extra for something 3D. Here are some i found at JBHIFI (couple of the brands are a bit crap) http://www.jbhifi.com.au/ I personally like the LG, Toshiba and Panasonic on display below. But if size doesn't worry you some of the 32' are pretty nice too. Plasma takes a lot of power to produce, has slow response times and has a limited lifetime of 30,000 hours. LED... I have never actually been advised against purchasing an electronic product before. I went into the shop and they told me not too! The heat that comes off those things is enough to set your house on fire! Haha. I'd go for an LCD display. |
