Two MyBB Fixes? - Peter L - 03-26-2011 Two things I've always wondered why it happens are these two things: Why is admin's always second, by default? And on this forum I noticed (it happened on mine too) it says this: This is the page: http://www.codnerd.com/forums/subscribe.php Why does it do that bu default? It does that when searching the forums, too. RE: Two MyBB Fixes? - Fragma - 03-26-2011 Your first point: I've actually wondered that myself. It would make more sense for the Admin to be top of the list. I think you can edit this though through your ACP, although I'm not sure how exactly as I've never tried. RE: Two MyBB Fixes? - Solidus - 03-26-2011 Showteam page is like that because of the group IDs. The search box is apart of the Google SEO plugin. RE: Two MyBB Fixes? - Peter L - 03-26-2011 Oh, that makes sense haha. I did have that plugin. Thank you. Do you know if there is a way of changing the order of the groups on the Forum Team page? You need to change the group ids in MyBB settings for example if admins = 10 but mods = 9 they will come first. RE: Two MyBB Fixes? - Solidus - 03-26-2011 Yes but that's not recommended at all, its a dangerous edit to make. I'll post the safe fix when I get on the laptop, haven't got my files on mobile. |
