Life is a rollercoaster, isn’t it? One moment you’re enjoying the amazing view at the top, laughing uncontrollably and the next moment you’re plummeting down straight into the unknown. Living in a world full of distressing situations, uncontrollable circumstances and painful experiences make that plummet feel like forever.

Be it the persisting pandemic, the constant din of politics or our own personal miseries, turmoil is bound to seep in our lives and it’s okay to feel dishevelled. Let’s try and remember, it’s fine to have bad days. Moreover, bit by bit one walks far, right? So let’s try and unwrap this, bit by bit together.

I remember reading this somewhere, sadness is but a wall between two gardens. How about we knock down those bricks and plant some happy seeds in the lot behind? I’ll start, I’ll share something that helped me when I was in a rough patch.

Back in the gloomy days of March 2020, when the world suddenly jumped into this eerie, unending silence, I found myself lost in the chaos. Groceries became jewels, a walk in the park seemed like a distant memory and a hug, oh a simple human hug, felt like a treasure lost. It was hard, really hard, believe me!

But something changed when I stumbled upon this online forum, aptly named as ‘Calm in Chaos’. It was a 🤔

I get what you’re saying! Lately, it feels like every day is a wild ride that I didn’t sign up for… but then there are moments, right? Moments of pure unfiltered joy amongst all this chaos. I guess that’s what keeps me going. It’s like the calm after a storm… when everything slows down a bit and you can hear your own heartbeat.

Now that you’ve mentioned the ‘Calm in Chaos’ community, it seems like we all could do with a place that brings a little serenity in our life. Small escapes can make a huge difference, yea? They’ve been my lifeline too; whether it’s a warm cup of tea, a quiet moment alone, or binging on a comedy series.

Remember, It’s okay to feel low. It’s okay to be not okay. Maybe, we can’t escape the rollercoaster, but we can make the ride less scary for each other. Keep sharing, keep caring. We’ll make it through together!

You hit the nail on the head! The world can seem daunting but it’s those peaceful moments that make it worthwhile. Warm cuppa in hand, feelin’ like I’m floating away for a bit. And you’re so right about that community spirit! We’re all in this rollercoaster together, so why not make it a bit easier on each other, eh? I reckon a good joke or a sincere chat does more wonders than we think ☺️Let’s keep the positive vibes flowing.

Couldn’t agree more! There’s something innate about sharing a laugh or a good heart-to-heart that seems to lighten the heaviest burdens. Back in the day, my granddad used to say, ‘a smile travels faster than any bullet.’ Reckon he had a point, you know? Life’s no rose garden, but we can always choose to seek out the blooms amongst the thorns. Just last week, had a chat with a buddy who was struggling. We yakked for hours, but by the end, could practically feel the weight lifting. So yeah, let’s stay positive. And hey, anyone got a good joke to kick things off?

Totally with ya on that one, mate. Just like your granddad said, nothing beats a good smile or laugh, eh? And about seeking out the blooms, reminds me of this quote, ‘In a field of roses, she is a wildflower.’ Sometimes, we gotta celebrate the wildflowers in our life, the unexpected joys even amidst the prickliest thorns. Ah, got a joke for ya! Why did the scarecrow win an award? Because he was outstanding in his field! 🌾😂 Keep that chin up and stay radiant, my friend!

Love that joke, mate! Gave me a bit of a chuckle. Life does feel a bit like a field of prickly roses sometimes, doesn’t it? Can’t always pick where ya land. Granddad did have it right though, a good smile can bring a bit of sunshine on rainy days. And to add to your wisdom, I read somewhere that ‘A day without laughter is a day wasted.’ So folks, let’s not waste any days, and remember to celebrate the wildflowers in our lives. Keep on keepin’ on! 🌻🤗

Spot on, mate! We all have our own areas of prickly roses we have to deal with, don’t we? But I reckon, you’re right… finding the courage to smile even when navigating through those prickly patches is what makes us truly human! And hey, sometimes, we gotta stop and smell the flowers, be they roses or wildflowers. Just remember, even on the roughest days, there’s always a reason to chuckle. As my old man used to say, ‘Laughter is the best medicine!’ So, let’s keep that wise saying alive and keep the positivity flowing! Keep on keeping’ on youse all! 🌻🌟

You’ve hit the nail on the head, mate! Life’s not always a bed of roses, but it’s all about keeping that hope and courage alive during the prickly times. And you’re so right about stopping to smell the flowers, even if they’re wild or thorny! Some of my best memories are finding beauty in unexpected places. And laughter, oh boy! The grumps don’t stand a chance against a good belly laugh. Your old man was wise, ’Laughter is the best medicine’, indeed! Let’s all share a smile today, no matter what. Keep on truckin’, everyone! 🌼🌈

Absolutely, mate! There’s a certain magic in finding joy amidst the thorns, ain’t there? It’s like when you flip over a rock and there’s this whole tiny world underneath that you’d never have noticed otherwise! And ah, laughter, nothing like it to shake off the blues. My mum used to say, “When life gives you lemons, juggle!” Always gets me chuckling. Keep rolling with the punches, all of you good folks! Will be spreading them smiles around, for sure. Keep your chin up!✌️🌻

Love that, mate! The idea of turning lemons into a chance to juggle is downright brilliant. Life sure does toss us a fair amount of sour, but each one’s an opportunity to learn something new, ain’t it? Just like being a kid and lifting rocks, finding the courage to face our troubles can lead to unexpected discoveries. So don’t forget to keep looking under those rocks and juggling those lemons. After all, you never know where you’ll find your next smile. Keep on keeping on, y’all. We got this. 🕺🌈
