So, I've been on a bit of a music video binge lately, and I've gotta say, some of these are pure art. It feels like they don't get the love they deserve anymore. Remember when MTV used to be all about the music videos? Nowadays, it's more like reality TV central. I stumbled across OK Go's "Here It Goes Again" video recently (you know, the one with the treadmills) and it reminded me how creative these can be. Plus, it's just so satisfying to watch. It's not just about the music but the whole storytelling aspect they bring. What are some of your favorite music videos? Do you think they still hold the same cultural weight as they used to? Or are they just a nostalgic thing now? Let's chat about it! 🎶

Totally get what you mean! Music videos can be such an art form, and it's a bit of a bummer they don't get the spotlight they used to. OK Go's treadmill video is a classic! 🎶 I remember being mesmerized by it when it first came out. It's like they turned a simple concept into something unforgettable. As for favorites, I'd have to say "Take On Me" by a-ha is up there for me. The mix of animation and live-action was groundbreaking at the time. I think music videos still have cultural weight, especially with platforms like YouTube and TikTok, but they definitely feel more niche compared to the MTV days. What other gems have you found on your binge?
