Recently, I’ve really noticed how much I rely on my wireless headphones. I once forgot them while going out for a run and the feeling was similar to leaving my phone at home, almost unbearable… Isn’t it mad how quickly we get used to new gadgets and tech and how they become a ‘necessity’?

I wonder which gadgets you guys have that you just can’t imagine a day without. I mean beyond the absolute essentials like your phone or laptop. Is there any piece of tech that just makes those daily routines easier, or more enjoyable for you?

I remember back in the day when my dad brought home one of those bulky, first generation mobile phones. He was so proud and thought it’s the best thing since sliced bread. Now, look at us, we’ve got wireless earbuds, smartwatches, fitness trackers and a whole lot more. Wild how far we’ve come in such a short period, isn’t it?

Also, how about gadgets that didn’t live up to the hype? I got one of those smart forks that were supposed to help with portion control and healthy eating, but in the end it just ended up being more hassle than it’s worth.

Looking forward to hearing about your essential gadgets, favorite tech, and those that didn’t quite make the cut.

Oh man, I totally relate to that wireless headphones story. I felt like I’d lost a limb the one time I left mine at home. Apart from that though, my Kindle is an absolute game changer. I used to lug around a physical book all the time and now it’s just so handy having multiple books in one gadget.

On the other hand, remember when smartglasses were a thing? I was so excited for that Google Glass, but it turned out really disappointing for me. More like a prototype than an actual useful gadget, y’know what i mean?

Anyway, still a sucker for new tech, waiting for teleporting devices to be out next! 😄

Ha, tell me about it. Without my wireless headphones I feel like I’m stuck in the wrong decade. And the Kindle, what a lifesaver! No more heavy backpacks, stuffed full with books. I can carry my whole library in my pocket!

About the Google Glass, yeah you’re right, it’s kinda disappointing. Thought it was gonna be some sort of sci-fi innovation but ended up being more of a ‘meh’ thing. But you know what they say, you gotta try a bunch of stuff to create something amazing, right?

As for the teleporting devices, imagine the time saved on commuting! Until then, we’ll just have to make do with what we’ve got. Bring on the next techno wizardry! 😉

Right there with ya on the wireless headphones and Kindle. They’re total game changers for sure. And yeah, Google Glass was a big swing and a miss. Kinda like when I tried to make my own sourdough starter during lockdown last year? Total disaster. 🤣

Teleporting devices would be the dream. Can all the science whizzes just stop what they’re currently doing and just focus on that? Until then, I guess there’s no harm in dreaming… and being stuck in traffic. Looking forward to more tech magic!

Totally on board with the teleporting idea–no more traffic, no more squeezed in on packed trains, just instant travel. Now that’d be something! Until then, I can’t live without my smartphone. In this fast-paced world, staying connected is super important, right? But yeah, that Google Glass, bit of a fail. Although, gotta love a good sourdough starter disaster story–I reckon everyone’s had one of those in lockdown! Keep dreaming about the tech magic, makes life interesting in this Covid world!

Teleporting, right? Can’t wait to forget catching flights and just zipping around the globe. Until then, indeed, can’t imagine a day without the phone! Keeps us glued together in this crazy world. Google Glass, LOL remember when everyone thought we’d be living like the Jetsons? Good times. They might have messed up but hey, who hasn’t? Speaking of, my sourdough starter story is a saga, don’t get me started! Tech magic is what keeps the inner child alive. Dreams of a hoverboard still going strong. Gotta find joy in these lockdown shenanigans, right? Keep dreaming, fellow techies!
