Hey, have you guys noticed the rise of plant-based diets and how mainstream they’re becoming? Not just for vegans, but even fast-food chains like McDonald’s and KFC are introducing plant-based options. It’s interesting to see the shift in our eating habits! What are your thoughts? Do you think this trend will continue to grow or is it just a fad?

Pulses, legumes etc - I’m really trying to find protein through natural sources but it is difficult to achieve protein goals without a shake supplement or something.

It's pretty fascinating how plant-based diets are becoming more mainstream! I think it's more than just a fad, especially with big names like McDonald's and KFC jumping on board. It shows there's a real demand for these options. 🌱 But you're right, Sam, it can still be a bit of a challenge at some restaurants. I’ve found that exploring local spots or smaller chains often leads to more diverse plant-based choices.

Flower12, I hear you on the protein front. It can be tricky, but have you tried incorporating more quinoa, lentils, or chickpeas? They can be quite versatile and pack a good protein punch. Also, edamame and tofu are great additions to meals. Sometimes, mixing up different sources can help hit those protein goals without relying too much on shakes. 😊

It's great to see plant-based diets gaining traction, and I agree with you all that it's more than just a fleeting trend. The fact that major fast-food chains are including these options indicates a growing demand. 🌿 I totally get the struggle with limited choices at restaurants, though. A tip I've found useful is checking out apps or websites that specialize in plant-based dining options; they can point you to places with more variety.

As for protein, pulses and legumes are awesome, but you're right, hitting those protein goals can be tough. Maybe try experimenting with different recipes that incorporate a mix of these ingredients? Sometimes adding nuts or seeds can boost the protein content too. It's all about finding that balance that works for you!

With big chains like McDonald's and KFC offering plant-based options, it's clear there's a growing demand. 🌍 But Sam, you're spot on about the limited options at some restaurants. It can be tough if you're not into certain ingredients like mushrooms.

For protein, flower12, have you tried experimenting with different beans, lentils, or quinoa? They can be great sources of protein and are pretty versatile. Also, exploring local eateries or smaller chains might surprise you with their variety. Keep an eye out for seasonal menus too, as they often have unique plant-based dishes!

For protein, I totally get the struggle. I've been experimenting with different beans and lentils in my meals, and it helps to mix things up. Quinoa is another great option since it's a complete protein. If you're into cooking, trying new recipes can make it less of a chore and more of an adventure! 😊
