so, i find myself in the market for a new smartphone. my old one’s battery life is in the gutter and it crashes randomly at like the worst time. absolutely fun when you’re in the middle of something important, right?

maybe it’s time for me to give the iPhone a chance. i’ve been and Android user all my life but heard so many good things about the latest iPhone 13. they say the camera quality is amazing and that A15 Bionic chip is leading the pack in terms of processing speed. bonus points for that 120Hz ProMotion screen on the Pro models. i’ve tried it out in the store and the difference is crazy smooth.

but none of that matters if i can’t customize my phone the way i want, you know? i heard they’re a little restrictive, eh? like, can i just put widgets anywhere i want like Android? and i still can’t get around that no headphone jack thing. also, just transferring files sounds like a chore with all that iTunes business. feel like they need to chill with forcing their ecosystem on everyone.

on the other hand, maybe one of the latest Androids? S21 Ultra or Pixel 6 Pro maybe? they look like some really solid choices, and i could stick with the ecosystem i know.

what do you guys think? is it time for a change? for those who did the switch from Android to iPhone (or vice versa), what was your experience 🤔
