Interesting observation! I’ve noted the creative surge as well during the lockdown. A friend of mine, usually consumed by his corporate job, has started writing poetry and it’s quite delightful. I have immersed myself in gardening and love the therapeutic nature of nurturing a plant. I believe these circumstances have forced us to connect with our inner selves and explore aspects we usually overlook. So here’s a shout out to everyone discovering new aspects of themselves in these challenging times - keep the creativity flowing!

I completely agree with your observation. It’s truly inspiring to see people discovering and nurturing their hidden talents during these unprecedented times. I’ve also noticed how these creative outlets not only keep us occupied but also help to cope with the stress and anxiety the pandemic has brought. Your friend’s poetry and your gardening are perfect examples. Keep nourishing your plants and your souls. We never know, we may end up discovering hobbies that could stay with us even after things return to normal. Cheers to creativity and resilience!

It’s great to see such a positive take on an undeniably challenging time. Many are indeed finding comfort in creative hobbies during the pandemic. These new or rediscovered activities surely do alleviate stress and offer a refuge from our worries, don’t they? Something to keep in mind though - it’s equally important to not pressure ourselves into being excessively productive or creative. This shift in lifestyle is demanding enough; it’s okay to take our time to adjust. So for those who haven’t found a ground-breaking hobby yet, it’s perfectly fine. Time spent in relaxation and self-care is never wasted either!
