I recently noticed that my Pixel 7 Pro’s always-on display, which I rely on to quickly glance at notifications overnight, keeps turning itself off randomly when I’m sleeping. I’ve checked the usual suspects: battery saver is off, night light mode is scheduled but that shouldn’t disable the always-on display, and I haven’t installed any new apps recently that might interfere. My phone is running the latest Android 14 beta, which I thought might be the culprit, but I’m not sure if it’s a bug or some setting I missed. I want the always-on display to stay active throughout the night so I can see notifications without unlocking my phone. I tried toggling the feature off and on, rebooted the phone, and reset display settings, but the problem persists. Anyone else on the beta experiencing this? Is there a hidden setting or workaround to keep the always-on display from shutting off randomly during specific hours? Also, could this be related to some power management feature I’m overlooking?
