That tiny crack in my ceramic mug just turned into a leak—can it be fixed without buying a new one?

I have this favorite ceramic coffee mug I've been using for years. The other day, I noticed a tiny hairline crack near the handle that wasn't there before. Today, when I poured hot tea, it started leaking from that spot, making a mess on the counter. I’ve tried sealing it with clear nail polish as a quick fix, but the leak still persists. I really want to avoid tossing it since it has sentimental value and the perfect size for my morning brew. Has anyone successfully repaired a cracked ceramic mug that still holds liquids? What kind of adhesive or method worked best for you without ruining the cup’s look or safety? Also, is it safe to keep using a mug with a repaired crack for hot drinks?
