Sunlight Fading My Handmade Quilt on the Porch—Best Way to Protect It?

I recently finished a pretty detailed handmade quilt that I like to display on the porch railing during the day. The porch gets afternoon sun for about 3-4 hours, and I’m worried the colors might start fading after just a few weeks. I’ve tried moving it to a shadier spot, but it’s either too dark to appreciate or too exposed to bugs and moisture. I want it to stay vibrant without constantly bringing it inside or covering it up, since part of the charm is having it visible outside. Has anyone dealt with this kind of fabric fading from sunlight? Are there sprays or protective treatments that work without stiffening or discoloring the fabric? Or is rotating the quilt indoors daily the only way to go? Would love to hear what’s worked for you!
