Caught Between Loving Anime and Managing My Insomnia—How Do You Wind Down After Binge-Watching?

I recently dove into a week-long anime binge session with shows like "Made in Abyss" and "Mushoku Tensei," which was amazing but totally wrecked my sleep schedule. I usually watch late into the night because it’s the only quiet time I have after work and taking care of my cat. The problem is, once the credits roll, my brain is buzzing, and I lie awake for hours, totally wired. I've tried cutting off screens an hour before bed, but the urge to watch “just one more episode” always wins. My room is cozy and dark, and I’ve got blackout curtains, but nothing seems to help with the racing thoughts and excitement from the episodes. I’m looking for ways to still enjoy my anime marathons without sacrificing my sleep or feeling groggy the next day. Has anyone managed to balance intense evening watching with a decent bedtime? What rituals or tricks helped you calm down after a late night anime binge?
