Struggling to Get My Garmin Edge 530 to Connect to Bluetooth Sensors Consistently on Long Rides

I’ve been using a Garmin Edge 530 for a couple of years now, mostly on weekend rides around 50-70 miles. Recently, I started noticing that the bike computer randomly loses connection to my heart rate monitor and cadence sensor after about an hour on the road. I’ve tried unpairing and re-pairing both sensors, updating the firmware on the Edge, and making sure the batteries in the sensors are fresh. Still, the dropouts happen, usually in the middle of a ride, which is super frustrating. I mostly ride in suburban areas with some tree cover but no heavy interference like big buildings or other electronics nearby. I use the official Garmin sensors, so compatibility shouldn’t be an issue. I’m hoping for a way to stabilize the Bluetooth connection without having to restart the device mid-ride. Has anyone else faced persistent Bluetooth dropouts with the Edge 530 on longer rides? Are there any settings or tricks to keep the connection solid, or should I consider switching to ANT+ sensors instead? Would that even guarantee better stability?
