I recently bought a new USB gaming headset (Corsair HS80) to replace my old analog ones. Since then, I've noticed weird lag spikes and rubberbanding in Rocket League, but only when the headset is plugged in and active. Audio quality is great, but gameplay feels choppy and delayed. When I unplug the headset and switch back to my speakers, the lag disappears completely. I've updated all drivers (audio, USB, GPU) and tried different USB ports (front and back on my desktop), but the problem persists. Other games and apps don't seem affected, and network connection looks stable. I’m running Windows 10 with a Ryzen 5 3600 and RTX 3060. Has anyone experienced lag caused by USB audio devices? Could it be some USB bandwidth or driver conflict? Is there a way to isolate or fix this without giving up the headset? Would a powered USB hub help, or is there a setting I’m missing somewhere?
