I recently decided to swap my usual desk for a standing desk to help with my back pain, but my home office isn’t very big - about 8x10 feet. I tried placing the standing desk against the wall where my old desk was, but the cords and my printer setup got all tangled and cluttered, making the space feel cramped instead of open. Plus, I love having a comfy chair nearby for when I need to sit and brainstorm, but now there isn’t much room left for it. I’m hesitant to lose my small bookshelf or the plant corner because they make the room feel cozy and personal. I want the space to feel open and functional without sacrificing comfort or my favorite touches. Has anyone found clever ways to fit a standing desk into a small room while keeping enough space for a comfy chair and some personal decor? How did you manage cable clutter around your standing desk setup without losing easy access to printers and chargers?
