Rewatching 'The Office' but struggling with some episodes—did the later seasons just lose their charm?

I've been on a nostalgic kick and decided to rewatch 'The Office' from the beginning, mostly because it was such a big part of my college years. The first few seasons still have me laughing out loud, especially with Michael Scott's awkward moments and Jim's pranks on Dwight. But as I hit seasons 7 and 8, something feels off. The humor seems different, and some characters just don't feel the same. I've tried watching a few episodes here and there from the later seasons, hoping to get back that original vibe, but it hasn’t clicked for me. I'm wondering if it's just me being too nostalgic or if the show really did change tone after the main cast shuffled around. Did others feel like the later seasons lost some of the magic, or am I missing out on some hidden gems there?
