My cat insists on 'helping' with laundry—anyone else?

So every time I do laundry, my cat jumps right into the basket and starts pawing at the clothes like he's trying to help fold them. It's honestly the cutest (and most unhelpful) thing ever. Sometimes he even tries to drag socks out like he's found treasure. It's become such a routine that I almost look forward to laundry day just because of his antics.

Does anyone else have a pet that insists on being involved in chores? How do you manage their enthusiasm without turning your tasks into a full-on pet playtime? I’m curious if this is just a quirky cat thing or a universal pet vibe!
