Okay, I finally got around to watching HBO's 'The Last of Us' and wow, it totally lived up to the hype. The way they captured the emotional depth between Joel and Ellie really hit me hard. That scene in the hospital? Absolutely heart-wrenching. Also, the soundtrack perfectly set the mood without overpowering the scenes. I was a bit worried since I've played the game multiple times, but the show added new layers to the story that made it feel fresh. The pacing was spot-on, and the acting felt so genuine, especially from the leads. I’m curious how others who played the game felt about the adaptation. Has anyone else binged it already? What were your favorite moments? And for those who haven’t seen it yet, does the show do enough to stand on its own without game knowledge?
