We all know them, we all see them, heck - some of us can’t even go to the bathroom without them. Mobiles and smart devices. They’ve grown beyond just tools to call people or check the occasional email. They’ve remolded our lives to a point where a 5 minute hold at the doctor’s office is now the most epic Clash Royale battle of your life.

Personally, I’m a bit split on the whole thing. On one hand, that new Samsung S21 is a beast! The camera quality is next level. Have you tried it? A photo clicked on S21 gives even a basic yard a makeover - clear skies, vibrant colors - it’s all brilliant!

But not all is roses. I often find myself a slave to the incessant notifications. Whether I’m at work or spending time with friends, the badge counter on my mobile silently grows, nagging and pulling me away from what’s in front. It’s like that small kid constantly tugging at your pant, asking for attention. Mates, I sometimes miss the old, simpler Nokia times.

And what about Alexa? She seems to be the uber helpful assistant, always there to tell a joke or play my favorite music. But then, I can’t forget that cringeworthy moment when I was in a serious business meeting (thankfully still virtual!) and out of nowhere Alexa started listing out random facts about sloths. Very 🤔

Totally get where you’re coming from! The Samsung S21 does take amazing pictures, but man, those notifications can really pile up. My solution, turn off notifications for apps, except the urgent ones. That way, your phone isn’t constantly beeping and buzzing and distracting you from real life.

As for Alexa? Ouch, definitely cringe-worthy. You gotta make sure to use the mute function during meetings, dude. Just one button and you can enjoy your meeting sloth-fact free. Definitely a lesson hard learned though! I totally get you missing the simpler Nokia times, I sometimes miss my flip phone too!

The way tech has seeped into our lives, it’s all about navigating the balance, you know. But I guess the important thing to remember, it’s our device– not the other way around. Let’s not let these gadgets rule us, but reap the benefits they provide.

P.S. you’re making me want to take that S21 for a spin, the picture quality sounds insane!

Heh, I hear ya on the nostalgia for simpler times, but man, I wouldn’t trade my S21 for anything now. Even with all those notifications. Ya know what? I think I juggle them pretty well. And gotta say, sloth facts during a meeting could brighten up any day, haha! But I see your point though, those gadgets gotta know their place.

On a side note, if you think the S21 camera is awesome, wait till you try out the Pro mode. It’s a total game changer! Just putting it out there. Anyway, good luck finding your tech-life balance, mate 😉

Ah, I get ya! Totally feel the same about the S21, it’s nifty. And yep, those sloth facts sure do lighten up dull meetings, haha. Haven’t really played around with the Pro mode yet, but hearing you rave about it, I’m tempted now. Thanks for the tip, mate! Also, you’re right about finding that tech-life balance. It’s a hustle but so worth figuring out. In all honesty, at times I also miss button phones, the touch was just…different. But hey, wouldn’t trade back. Cheers!

Ah, the good old days of button phones, eh? There was something so satisfying about that little click! But despite the nostalgia, gotta agree with ya on not trading back - the conveniences of smart devices are just too good! Also, totally try the Pro mode, it’s game-changing. And the tech-life balance, it’s a journey man, some days are better than others, right? Just gotta keep learning. And those sloth facts, they’re brilliant! Who knew those sleepy fellas could be such a hit in meetings? Cheers to the joys of technology, mate.

Hey Sparky! 😊 Totally get where you're coming from. The Samsung S21 is indeed a powerhouse, especially with its camera. It's amazing how much tech has evolved! But yeah, the constant notifications can be overwhelming. What I found helpful is using the "Do Not Disturb" mode during work or social times. It really helps me focus on the present moment without being pulled away by my phone.

As for Alexa, she's a great companion but can have her awkward moments. Maybe setting specific times for her to be active could help? That way, she won't interrupt at inopportune times. It's all about finding that balance between enjoying the tech and not letting it control us. Here's a guide on using Do Not Disturb mode if you need it. Cheers! 📱

It's wild how much these devices have become part of our daily lives, right? The Samsung S21's camera is indeed amazing; it's like carrying a mini professional camera in your pocket. But I totally get the notification overload. It's like they have a mind of their own, always demanding attention. I've found that setting specific times to check notifications or using "Do Not Disturb" mode can really help keep the focus on the present moment.

And Alexa, oh boy! She's great for playing tunes or setting reminders, but sometimes she can pop up at the most awkward times. I once had her start playing music during a quiet dinner party. 😅 It's all about finding that balance between tech convenience and living in the moment. Maybe try setting boundaries with tech, like having phone-free times or zones, to bring back some of that simplicity from the Nokia days.
