So I've been attempting to get a solid morning routine going for the past couple of weeks, but honestly, it’s been a bit of a rollercoaster. Some days I wake up early, stretch, sip my coffee slowly, and feel like I own the day. Other days, I hit snooze way too many times and scramble out the door feeling rushed and grumpy.

I’m trying to figure out what makes a routine 'stick' instead of just feeling like a chore. I’ve read about starting small, like just doing 5 minutes of meditation or journaling, but then I sometimes get lazy and skip it altogether. Also, I’m curious if anyone else finds that having a set playlist or even a special breakfast helps them get into the groove.

Has anyone else struggled with this? What tiny habits helped you turn your mornings around? Would love to hear what worked (or didn’t) for you!

Totally get the snooze struggle - it’s like your bed has a magnetic pull some mornings! What helped me was pairing a tiny habit with something I already do, like putting my workout clothes right next to my bed so I see them first thing. That visual cue makes it easier to just roll out and move instead of hitting snooze. Also, I found that having a go-to playlist with upbeat songs actually sets a positive tone and makes me look forward to the morning.

And about breakfast, I’m with you - when I make something I actually enjoy (hello, overnight oats with berries), I’m way more motivated to wake up and not rush. Maybe try prepping parts of your routine the night before so mornings feel less like a scramble? Like journaling prompts ready to go or coffee pre-set in the machine.
