I've always admired people who have a solid morning routine, but honestly, sticking to one has been a bit of a challenge for me. Some mornings I wake up and dive straight into work emails, other days I’m scrolling my phone for way too long. Lately, I’ve been trying to add small habits like a quick stretch, a glass of water, and spending five minutes journaling or planning my day. It feels nice when I do it, but some days motivation just isn’t there.

One thing I’ve noticed is that if I keep the routine really simple and doable, I’m more likely to follow through. But I’m curious about how others build habits that last. Do you start with tiny changes or dive right into a full routine? How do you deal with days when you just don’t feel like it? Would love to hear your stories or tips!

Totally get where you’re coming from - mornings can be so unpredictable! I’ve found that starting with just one tiny habit, like your glass of water, makes it feel less overwhelming and more doable. On days when motivation dips, I remind myself it’s okay to keep it super simple or even skip journaling if needed, as long as I don’t completely abandon the routine. That way, it feels more like a gentle nudge than a chore.

Also, I love your idea of keeping it flexible. Sometimes I swap stretching for a quick walk or swap journaling for a few deep breaths. It’s all about building a habit that fits your mood and energy that day without guilt. Small wins add up!
