Lately, I’ve been feeling totally overwhelmed by my finances. I make okay money, but somehow by the end of the month, I’m stressed about bills and have barely any savings. I try to track what I spend, but it feels like every little thing adds up faster than I expect — coffee runs, groceries, random impulse buys. I’m not even sure where to start cutting back without feeling like I’m depriving myself. I’ve thought about using budgeting apps, but honestly, they sometimes make me feel worse when I see how far off I am from my goals. Also, I’ve been toying with the idea of picking up a side gig, but I’m worried about burning out. I just want a little breathing room in my budget and maybe some smarter ways to save without the constant stress. Has anyone else been in this spot? How did you start getting a handle on your spending without it feeling like a chore? And if you picked up side income, how did you balance that with your regular job and life?
