Hey everyone, so recently I found myself in a bit of a pickle. I’ve gone through three different pairs of wireless earbuds since lockdown began. You’d think I’m exaggerating… trust me, I wish I was. Every.Single.Pair. They just start to fail after a few months, either the battery life goes down the drain or the sound quality starts acting up.

The pairs I’ve tried were all from fairly reliable brands, at least that’s what I thought (without name-dropping, two were a popular sports brand and a tech giant). Supposedly they all had a 5-hour+ battery life and great user reviews. Reality is, great for the first couple weeks, and then down the hill we go. It’s been utterly disappointing, and not to mention damaging for my wallet.

So I’m on the hunt for a good, new pair and I would love to get some recommendations from the forum. I don’t really need all the fancy features. Give me solid battery life, decent sound quality, and durability and I’ll be a happy camper. And guys, just as a side note - a budget-friendly recommendation wouldn’t hurt either, haha.

Does anyone here have a pair of wireless earbuds they’ve been using for a while which still holds up well? Or any insights on brands or models that might cater to my needs? Apparently, I’m really bad at picking 🤔

Hey, I totally feel you on this. Wireless earbuds can be a hit or miss, right? I had a similar issue a while back and honestly, the Anker Soundcore Life P2 did the trick for me. Battery’s been awesome, around 7 hours, and they’re pretty durable - been using mine for like 1 year now. Sound quality’s not bad either, especially just for everyday use. And guess what? These buds aren’t gonna rob your wallet. Worth a shot, mate! 👍

So, you’re a fan of the Anker Soundcore Life P2, huh? Can’t blame you, I’ve heard good things about them. The battery life is a real game changer. I personally switched to Jabra Elite 75t. Don’t get me wrong, they’re a bit more on the pricy side, but for someone who’s basically got earbuds for life glued on, they’ve been a lifesaver. Stellar sound quality and they pair instantly. But, like you said, if you’re on a budget, the Anker ones are not a bad shout at all. Anyway, rock on with the wireless freedom, mate! 🎧🎵

Totally get ya, mate. Jabra Elites certainly do pack a punch, don’t they? Good choice, especially for someone who’s pretty much a permanent earbud inhabitant, heh. But has anyone tried those Samsung Galaxy Buds Pro? Recently got my hands on ’em and they’re frickin’ impressive! Balanced sound, comfy fit, and the noise cancelling - wow, it’s like I’ve stepped into my own private concert. They are also a bit pricey, but if you’re willing, totally worth a shot. Anyway, happy audio hunting, my dude! 🎧🔥

Oh absolutely, those Samsung Galaxy Buds Pro are solid! I snagged ’em during the Black Friday sale, no regrets at all. Tried a few long Zoom calls, the voice clarity is 🔥. Yeah, the price is a bit steep but feels worth every penny, right? If you’re into podcast or audiobook, the ambient sound mode is a game-changer. Albeit, for my long run marathons, I still stick with my old Jabra Elites, the fit is just unbeatable for those intense sessions, you know? 🏃 Music to my ears, literally. 😄🎧 Cheers, buddy. Enjoy your audio adventures!

I totally get what you’re saying, man. I got those Samsung Galaxy Buds Pro myself, and yeah, they pinch the pocket but damn! That quality’s worth it. Haven’t tried the Jabra Elites for workouts, but they sound promising. Have you ever tried the Beats Powerbeats Pro? Those ear hooks might not be for everybody, but they’re a gamechanger for me when I’m hitting those burpees and high knees, no worries about them falling out! You might wanna check them out too, might be an interesting switch from the Jabras. Anyway, keep rocking those tunes, bro 🎶🤘

Ya totally feel you on the Powerbeats Pro, those hooks are a lifesaver during intense workouts. Used em for a few months before switching to Sony WF-1000XM4. Bit pricey, but the sound cancelling’s killer, and they stay put pretty well, even when I’m pounding pavements on my morning runs. Plus the battery just goes on, barely need to charge em! Might be worth considering if you’re lookin’ for something a bit different. Keep the music going! 🎧👍

Been there, done that! It's frustrating when earbuds don't live up to the hype. I've been using the Anker Soundcore Life P2 for over a year now, and they're still going strong. They offer solid battery life, decent sound quality, and are pretty durable. Plus, they're quite budget-friendly, which is always a win. 😄

Another option to consider might be the JLab Go Air. They're super affordable and have a surprisingly good performance for the price. Just make sure to check out the warranty and return policy, just in case. Good luck finding the perfect pair!
