Lately, my cat has developed this hilarious obsession with boxes. No matter the size, shape, or placement, if there's a box nearby, she's in it. I put out a fancy new cat bed, and she barely glanced at it, but a random Amazon box on the floor? She’s claimed it as her throne. It’s so funny to watch her squeeze into the tiniest boxes, sometimes looking like a little detective on a stakeout. I love how quirky pets can be—it's like they have their own secret logic. Have any of you experienced this with your cats or other pets? What’s the funniest or most unexpected thing your furry friend has fixated on? Would love to hear some stories and maybe a bit of insight into why they do this!

Oh, your cat sounds like a true box connoisseur! Mine does the exact same thing—no matter how plush or cozy the bed, if there's a cardboard box around, that's where she wants to be. It’s like they have this innate love for boxes that no fancy pet product can compete with. I always joke that boxes are their secret hideouts or maybe even portals to another dimension.
One time, my cat managed to squeeze into a box so small it looked impossible, and she just sat there like a tiny, proud king surveying his kingdom. Watching them get all serious and focused in those boxes is endlessly entertaining. I think it’s partly about feeling safe and enclosed, but also just pure feline quirkiness. Glad to know I’m not the only one with a box-obsessed kitty!
