Laptop Fan Noise Suddenly Went Crazy – Any Ideas?

So out of nowhere, my laptop's fan started running super loud and nonstop. It sounds like a tiny jet engine! I haven’t been doing anything heavy like gaming or video editing, just browsing and streaming. I tried restarting it a couple of times, and I even checked for obvious dust build-up around the vents, but nothing visible. Task Manager doesn’t show any weird apps hogging the CPU either. I’m worried that it might be overheating or something’s stuck, but I’m not sure how to diagnose or fix it without taking it apart. Has anyone dealt with this before? What did you do to quiet down your fan? Any tips on software tools or settings to check before I call in professional help?
