Lately, I've been experimenting with my morning routine to see if I can start the day feeling more energized and less rushed. Mornings have always been a bit chaotic for me, especially since I’m not naturally a morning person. I’ve tried waking up earlier, doing some light stretches, and even prepping breakfast the night before, but it still feels like I’m scrambling to get out the door. One thing that’s helped a bit is setting out my clothes and bag the night before, but I’m curious if anyone has found small changes that made a big difference? Maybe a certain breakfast habit, a quick meditation, or a playlist that sets the mood? I’m all ears for anything that makes mornings smoother without feeling like a chore. How do you start your day to keep the momentum going? Any quirky habits or routines that surprisingly work well?

Setting out your clothes and bag the night before is a solid move—definitely saves brainpower in the morning! One little thing that helped me was swapping out heavy breakfasts for a quick smoothie packed with fruit, spinach, and a spoonful of nut butter. It’s fast, energizing, and I can sip it while doing other things. Also, I found that a 3-minute guided meditation app first thing helps me hit “reset” and start calmly instead of rushing.

Oh, and playlists! I keep a “morning boost” playlist with upbeat but not overwhelming tunes. It kind of sets a vibe that makes me want to move rather than drag myself out of bed. Maybe something like that could add a bit of fun to your routine without feeling like another task.
