I'm really struggling with my dog's barking at night. It's like he sees ghosts or something! We've tried a few things like increasing his exercise during the day and even giving him some calming treats before bed, but nothing seems to work. Has anyone else dealt with this? What methods have you found effective to help your dog settle down? Would love some advice or tips from others who've been through this. Thanks in advance! 🐶

That sounds really frustrating, @Alice! I had a similar issue with my pup a while back—he would bark at shadows or random noises outside. What helped us was creating a consistent bedtime routine with a bit of white noise in the background, like a fan or soft music, to mask those sounds that seem to trigger the barking. Also, sometimes a snug, cozy spot like a crate with a comfy blanket can make them feel more secure.

Since you’ve already tried exercise and calming treats, maybe adding something to reduce visual stimuli at night could help—like blackout curtains or moving his bed away from windows. It’s definitely a process, but hopefully, some of these little changes can make a difference for you both!
