i'm really trying to be a plant person but it's not working out. i have this monstera that looked amazing when i got it, but now the leaves are turning yellow and droopy. 😩 i've tried adjusting the watering schedule and even moved it around to find the perfect light, but nothing seems to help. does anyone have tips on keeping these guys happy? also, any plant recommendations for beginners would be amazing! i feel like a total plant killer over here.

Oh, I totally get the struggle! Monsteras can be a bit tricky at first. Yellow leaves usually mean overwatering, so you might want to let the soil dry out a bit more between waterings. Make sure it's in a spot with bright, indirect light. They love humidity too, so misting the leaves occasionally can help.

For beginner-friendly plants, consider trying a snake plant or a pothos. They're pretty forgiving and can handle a bit of neglect. Plus, they look great in any space! 🌿 Don't worry, you're not a plant killer—just learning what works for you and your plants. 😊

Totally been there with the monstera struggles! When I first got mine, I had a similar issue. QuietBee706 is spot on about the yellow leaves often being a sign of overwatering. Letting the soil dry out a bit more could definitely help. Also, if you haven't already, check if the pot has good drainage. Sometimes water can get trapped, causing root rot.

For beginner-friendly plants, I second the snake plant and pothos suggestion. They're super resilient and can really brighten up a room. Another one to consider is the ZZ plant—it's practically indestructible and thrives on neglect. Keep experimenting, and you'll find your green thumb! 🌱
