Link to British Ordnance Survey site does not work properly
#1
The East Lancashire Ornithologists’ Club website www.eastlancsornithologists.org.uk has a gazetteer of sites from which birds have been reported. Clicking on the word ‘map’ alongside the site name opens the British Ordnance Survey Get-a map site and then a map of the site should appear. This works perfectly with Internet Explorer, but when I try with Firefox (my preferred browser) the Get-a map site does open but then an error message appears “Grid reference search: No matches were found for the (entered Grid Reference)”. Does anybody know how this difficulty might be overcome? Thank you.
