My mum has been diagnosed with OCD(obsessive compulsive disorder),
with cleaning.She has one of the most severe OCD problem which is too much cleaning.
She washes her hands after eating for about 15 minutes straight.
She washes her hands every time she touches stuff, and almost anything.
She restricts my family from doing the things we want.
We have to do what she asks or she will start to get angry or even
cry.
If I go outside, I have to take a shower when I come back.
There's too much but I'm not gonna list it.
It used to be less severe before but in time, it got worse and worse.
Until now, it is a very bad Sickness.It has grew and has taken control of my mum completely.How ocd takes over someone completely is when someone gets these compulsive thoughts and listens to them every time, and through time, the thoughts become stronger and re occur more often.
She sees a special psychiatrist but her sickness hasn't been solved.
I've tried to help her, I've searched online and everything but no luck..
any help?
