Told a girl I liked her after a year of talking almost every day, and now she hasn't spoken to me in a week.

More detail .. ?
When you talked to her before, has she acted like she liked you or anything? It could be that she likes you back but doesn't know how to say so. Or that she's freaked out by the fact that you told her you liked her.

She's probably shocked about it. How would you react if one of your best friends told you after a year that they like you? Have you tried to talk to her?

Yeah, I have.

And she's always acted like she liked me, and she knew that I liked her before, but I never just came out and said it.

I'd keep trying to talk to her and if she still won't talk to you try asking her why. Or ask her friends if they know why she's like that.

Try to think nothing of it. Try talking to her normally and then bring it up. If she stop responding then its hinting she probably doesn't want it to be "like like" relationship. Maybe she scared of commitment or have problems on the side.

A year? It's way too late.

She is properly really shocked. Keep trying to get into conversations and see what happens.

She's doing the avoidance thing while she thinks it out. If she wasn't confused about it she would've already told you she didn't like you like that. Just keep trying to talk to her and find out whats up. At the same time don't act like you're desperate to talk to her. In fact I think you shouldn't even try to talk to her. Let her come to you.

You tell her you like her after a year of just being friends and expect her not to be shocked? You waited for quite a while...
