Christmas Project Animation
#1
I worked on this since yesterday, I was unsure of what else to add to it, so I stuck with the lights animation, and added some snow with a brush carefully. It didn't look very good at first, so the snow is several layers with different opacity's.

lol I actually had one sitting on the top of the "C" in "Christmas" but I edited it out after, and added simple snow instead. I could make him sit on top of the snow, who knows, I guess it's still in progress, but it doesn't look too bad at the stage it's at right now either.

It's not animating for me?

Anyway falling snow would look good.

Also change the black background so something more christmassy like a snowy hill with a sky.

The lights are not in sequential brightening and dimming for you? :S

Thanks for the feedback, I might just do that, since the background faint designs are meant to be extra style. I've added snowfall to my most recent version

here:

this was a quick edit for the snowfall I did, I also added a ribbon to the candy cane to take up some more space on that side around it.

Second image is animated. I would just say make the lights a little more obvious that they are flashing.

Looks good though mate nice 1.

It's in progress, it gets a little confusing with the more animations I add, so right now the psd of mine, i've added several folders for layers, to keep things organized, but I noticed as well that the lights weren't very obvious.

The first one seems animated to me, but I might have forgot to put the animation to "forever" instead of "once." I would have to keep on the page and check for myself.

When I find a good ski hill i'll add that background to it too

Edit: The first one seems animated to me, but maybe thats just a little hint that the lights aren't that noticable until you really take a look at them dimming and brightening. If you keep an eye on one of the lights long enough you'll see that it dims out and then lights up again, human nature tells us to read from left to right though, and thats the direction the lights dim out, so you may be following the track just as fast as they dim and brighten, I'm not sure lol. They seem to be working for me, but the ribbon I added is definitely an improvement to the static image when taken into perspective. (still in progress)

The patterns over the picture seem distracting, and it was REALLY hard for me to tell that anything was moving. I didn't even notice it was a gif until 5 seconds of blank staring.

Maybe make the glow more noticable?
