But they do.

Well when you offer a reward on HF for posting here it is bound to happen, but I agree somewhat, there is no need to post you are from HF, unless you feel it may help with trades etc.

I see no problem posting an introduction saying "Hi! I'm from HackForums!"

That's helpful. It shows Omni where his main advertisement is. If he starts advertising elsewhere, people will say, "Hi! I'm from elsewhere!".

It's introductions.

Threads completely centered around HF, are pointless though.

I'm already more active here than at HF. I've been bored over there for a while now. Here, I like how it's active, but not active enough for me to keep up with recent posts.

HF talk is going to happen regardless, the only thing we can do is just discourage it.

I think it should be removed too

I forgot about this thread and I was JUST about to make one. I talk about HF on here too, but I still think it should be removed, or filtered when HF / HackForums/ Hack Forums is said, and evading it for a LQ/Nonsense reason should have some type of consequence

You get the reward for helpful posts. Not useless spam.

I wouldn't care, to be honest. Whatever you want.

In my introduction I didn't mention coming from HF.
To be honest I didn't. I left that idiotic place along time ago. But I did say I was from HF when I was discussing it in a thread regarding HF.

It doesn't really bother me when people say it. Aslong as they're active on here and don't go on about HF. (:
Someone with no history is nothing but suspicious.
