You have windows? Yes? Good!

Click start > Programs (or

All Programs) > Accessories > Calculator
Once the calculator is open, change it to scientific

mode (view > scientific)
Type in a number (such as your age)
Then click on the Hex radio

button to convert the denary number into hexadecimal.
Click on the Dec radio button to go

back to denary mode.

so on. Hexadecimal numbers are base 16 instead of base 10.
