As someone above me already said, if you have decent enough specs Windows 7 will beat XP twice over. I am currently running Windows 7 Ultimate and it is fantastic.

XP was great.
Vista was horrific.

7 IS AMAZING!

If you choose Win7 you will not be upset about your choice.

The paint program is neat too, totally changed.

I found 7 to be just amazing. I would agree with others though and warn if you don't have the specs you won't like it to much..

I tried Windows 7 for a little bit and i have to say i liked 7 over xp, seemed much quicker to me

Windows 7 is awesome If my computer didn't suck, I'd run it instead of XP. I really like the new Wordpad; it's tricked out.
