You could do that, or learn how to use Photoshop.
Learning how to use Photoshop is a lot better because it could help you with a lot more things.

Not many people can afford to splash out on software such as Photoshop. GIMP, however, is available to download, free of charge. You can download GIMP HERE.

There are many ways of getting Photoshop without paying, if you look around for a little while you'll find it.
Also, GIMP is good as well, as you suggested.

How many of those are legal methods? Remember, we're at Support Forums and the discussion of keygens and the likes is forbidden. Hence why I posted a free alternative.

gimp is good
but it doesnt do as much as photoshop
(prob why its free Tongue)
so if u do have a choice deff choose photoshop
