Hey there, all!
I'm Primal - I'm coming here from one of Omni's other forums, Hack Forums, where I'm relatively new as well (165 posts in?).
About me, about me...I'm from Manhattan, NY, and I'm an aspiring DJ and electronic music producer. I'm currently a high school student, but I don't tell many people that when I put my music out there on the web for people to hear and to spread my name - it's helpful for people to think you're older. I don't have very many DJ gigs, but it's summer at the moment, so I'm hoping to HIT THE CLUBS (illicitly, duh) and get my name out there to promoters. I'm currently a DJ for an small NYC-based label named Rot10 Musik, which releases a lot of music that I'm into - which is convenient, I guess. My job there is to just spread their music around, both in my DJ sets and in online forums of all kinds.
Future future future...I'm looking to release a single/EP by the end of 2010, which I think would be pretty impressive (personally) considering I'm 16 years old. I may actually have one of my remixes released on an EP soon, assuming I win the competition - which I think I have a pretty good shot at.
Anyways, I probably went into a little more detail than most of you care about! Boy, I wish I'd written this much as my intro on Hack Forums..
