How to uninstall Xubutnu?

How would you going about uninstalling xubuntu because I want to switch to Linux Mint and then when Xubuntu 9.10 comes out I'll switch back. So how would I do it?

Also how would you update xubuntu 9.04 to 9.10 If I choose to keep it.

Burn the ISO, boot from it, and overwrite the xubuntu partition.
If you don't want to overwrite it, I think it can just create a new partition. If not, it's not that hard to do yourself with gparted
