Everything can be hacked, SF could be, my forum could be, your forum could be. Even the CIA, FBI, NASA Ect. Can and have been hacked.

If you mean easily hacked? If you keep your MyBB version up to date then you will be secure from most noobs trying to run SQL exploits from a step by step tutorial. However as I said, this is the internet, nothing is safe.
