oK so i found this tutorial on youtube that teaches you how to make a batch file that makes a folder invisible/untouchable, and in order to access the folder you need the password(which you type in the batch file)

ok so here's my problem.
I made the batch file on my desktop, and put all my important files into it(not porn), then put the batch file into another directory,
and now i can't access my important files because they stay invisible/untouchable.


and i was just wondering if i can retrieve them. If anyone can help.

Make a new batch in the same folder that the secret folder is hidden, and put this

First of all, if you want to hide a folder or put a password on it you should just follow my tutorial here or just zip it up in winrar and make a password for it.

For your problem, put the batch file on your desktop and then try running it.

Just a tip, becareful about batch codes you get on youtube, some contain code that can destory or maliciously download a link and run a virus.

Yeah, I've made a batch folder locker/hider more than once before.

Folders should be stored in the root of your C:, like C:\Secret, and when hidden and locked, they should be in C:\Windows\Sys. The pass is stored encrypted in the registry.

You could try reverting the pc to before it was added but some elses tutorial could be better.

I actually never got my files back because they were somehow deleted,
I assumed that, so I was wondering if they still existed and were taking up space, but I solved the problem. thanks anyways.
